Location Overview — ChengDu
SiChuan is the low point between Tibet and Yunnan-GuiZhou high area, with full of mountains around west and north, link to Tibet, YaAn is the west city of ChengDu, Ya’an is the original home of panda, in the deep of the mountain has good resource for visit.
Local SiChuan people are passion and friendly.
Programs here are suitable for older students, with the area best explored on foot on the many hiking trails in the Ya’an park and the area around it.

Food and Accommodation
The area, SiChuan Province, is famous for its really spicy food, and for Karst programs we will give it a little try but we will make sure most of the meals cater to everyone's taste.
Weather
Weather in ChengDu area is quite mellow throughout the year, quite often engulfed in mist. Spring and fall are the best times to visit.
Transportation
Chengdu Town has it's own airport, about 1.5 hour drive to the YAAN Panda sanctuary.
