An authentic China experience is what a trip to GuiZhou is; and it’s also like time traveling!
One of the most underdeveloped provinces, the local cultures and the rural lifestyle that hasn't that that speedy boom in development in the past 100 years, GuiZhou it truly is one of the most interesting provinces to travel through.
GuiZhou is an all-around charming area, so we are going there.
And Karst Climber has decided for GeTu, for it has all the attributes of the province and it only made it on the travellers’ map in 2011, as a top sport climbing destination in China and South- East Asia.
Programs there can feature climbing, rural explorations & experiences and quite some traveling on foot; old school.

Rather remote and in one of the areas newly opened to tourism, and for climbing purpose only, hotels & food in GeTu are fit for an authentic China experience.
While hotels are very basic, Karst Climber will make sure they also have all basic facilities.
While Focus and Master programs require a good amount of energy to run on, Karst Climber will supplement local food with more common Chinese dishes and plenty of high energy snacks.
GuiZhou has a subtropical humid climate, with good temperatures to visit all year around, but maybe too cold for climbing/ camping in winter months. For climbing purposes we recommend GuiZhou April - November.
The closest Airport is in GuiYang City, the capital of GuiZhou province. GuiYang is also connected now to Beijing and Shanghai (8-10h) , NanNing (5h)
