LongSheng, as a destination, is famous for some of the most magnificent rice terraces in the world. The breathtaking landscape combined with the cultural heritage of LongSheng, makes this location a great choice for educational trips.
Several minorities are inhabiting the area of Northern GuangXi: Zhuang, Yao, Miao and Dong, and a simple hike through the area will immerse participants in the daily lifestyle of these mountain people.
Our programs here have strong cultural and social features; we want to give participants the change to experience a full immersion, with homestays, working side by side with the locals in their daily chores

Due to it's location, LongSheng can be a trip per se, or be a 2-3 days extension of the Yangshuo trip.
LongSheng has the perfect set up for total immersion in the cultural lifestyle, but with some creature comforts of home; the last 20 years of tourism mean that the infrastructure is there to allow for a pleasurable immersion.
For accommodation, inns and guesthouses or homestays are available.
Food in LongSheng is absolutely delicious and a lot of local specialities are available. We will make sure we have some of them on the table along with plenty of staple Chinese food.
LongSheng is a welcoming area for visitors from April through end of October, with pleasant temperatures spring and fall and a bit hotter during summer. Spring can also see some precipitations and misty days.
Closest Airport is Guilin, 2 hours away. Please note the area is mountainous and roads are winding.
