Remote, mysterious, and with an out-of-this world scenery, ZhangJiaJie is that one place that has been made famous outside of China by the Avatar movie.
For the longest time inaccessible, it is now one of the most breathtaking National Parks in China , under UNESCO World Heritage and a pilot and case study for sustainable tourism in China.
Programs here are suitable for older students, with the area best explored on foot on the many hiking trails in the park and the area around it.
Programs can go from the park either down South to FuRongZhen, a famous area for it’s ancient well preserved village architecture, where we have an array of more extreme activities or up North for a variety of more mellow outdoor activities.

The area, HuNan Province, is famous for its really spicy food, and for Karst programs we will give it a little try but we will make sure most of the meals cater to everyone's taste.
Weather in ZhangJiaJie area is quite mellow throughout the year, quite often engulfed in mist. Spring and fall are the best times to visit.
ZhangJiaJie Town has it’s own airport, about 1h drive to the park gates. ZhangJiaJie is also served by train connecting it to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou usually on overnight trains.
